The Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner Driver performs it possible to scan all sizes up to 4×5 inches using the supplied frame and 8×10 inches without a frame, including performing connection sheets. While the V850 Pro is the subject of this review, I will explain the features and differences between the two as we go. The Epson Scan application is easy to use.
The three scan modes available are: Fully Automatic, which may be too necessary for this scanner; Home mode, which is the right setting for multi-function scanners/printers; and Professional mode. Professional Mode gives you the most control over the image. In this advanced mode, customization options include film type, resolution, size, auto exposure, histogram, tone curve, image, color palette, Unsharp Mask, grain reduction, color restoration, backlight correction, dust removal, and ICE Digital. Cropping is also possible at this point, but it is better to use an image editing application for a precise cropping.
